Orange Sunflowers
I have been waiting to get my hands on a bunch of these beauties. Found some at a local supermarket yesterday. Lovely vibrant colour and they just look so different to the yellow I am accustomed too.

Thank you Amy! I thoroughly enjoyed photographing them outside in the garden this morning!!
Where do you live to have such vibrant flowers like this? As I said, I have never seen anything quite like these. xx Amy
These were shop bought. I just put the vase outside 🙂 The drought in California has been rough on the garden.
Ah, that explains it, Vanessa. California. I live in NY. No wonder I don’t see those flowers. Yes, I heard the drought has been horrible out your way. I really hope you are OK. (((HUGS))) Amy

Hi Vanessa,
yes, every of your photos show that flowers are yoru passion. Fantastic. If I were a flower you were my choice to make a portrait of me. And if I were an insect I would visit your flowers.

Hi,do you know what this sunflower variety is called? And do you maybe know where you can purchase the seeds? I’d love to have these sunflowers. I can’t find such vibrant orange sunflowers where I live ( The Netherlands).
I only can find here those rusty ornage colours. I hope you can answer my questions.
