Sometimes when taking flower photos one’s behaviour may seem a bit odd to others. Like when I stopped in a park to chase a bee around a cluster of coneflowers. We all have fun in our own way…

We took our son out for his birthday to Knockhatch Adventure Park in Hailsham and come across this bizarre site. Initially the water was calm and had a few ducks on it. Then the kids started feeding the ducks and all these fish appeared. They look like carp and their huge gaping mouths were a rather remarkable thing to see. They even chased the ducks out of the way. I took these pics with my iPhone so they didn’t capture the movement well but you get the idea!

While taking a walk through Brighton to get to the famous shopping area called the Lanes we happened to walk through Preston Park and discovered a meadow planted to encourage visits from wild life. Since I didn’t have a camera with me I had to go back today to take a view pics and enjoy the sight.

Was a good day for water reflections and these mallards provided a lovely scene to capture.
While getting the kids into the car for a trip to the museum I cam across this lovely sight. An Admiral Butterfly perched on a Butterfly Bush who was shortly joined by a bee. Took it as a good omen for the day ahead.
Taken on a trip to Blackberry Farm while the kids played on the obstacle course.
Sometimes you get to see some pretty things on the school run.
Taken on the edge of the woods near Fairwarp. The beetle was clinging well despite the windy weather.
Kids were very excited to find this little visitor in their paddling pool!
Thought this little fella was too cute for words!
