There is a lovely patch of Gazanias flowering close to the school so I went out early to take some snaps. Unfortunately I was a bit too early and they needed more time to open. The Society Garlic growing close by looked so pretty in the morning sunlight though that I wasn’t too disappointed.

Tried taking my friend on a walk from Newick to Isfield in Sussex today but unfortunately both of us are intimidated by cows in a meadow 🙂 Managed to spot this beautifully bright orange azalea though so the short walk was worthwhile.
Stopped in a lay-bye to get the kids some snacks and spotted this lovely group next to the car. Of course I had to take a pic.
Was really pleased to come across a patch of Wild Garlic flowers today. They looked really pretty amongst the trees although it took some effort to avoid the stinging nettles to get this pic!
The pretty scented flowers of this evergreen shrum make their appearance in October/November and provide something lovely to look at in winter. This cluster was peeping over the fence from my neighbour’s garden.
