Raindrops on Cuckoo Flowers

These delicate flowers got a good splattering of rain but managed to hold their own. Most of them are starting to fade now though.

These delicate flowers got a good splattering of rain but managed to hold their own. Most of them are starting to fade now though.

These pretty meadow flowers were growing along the bank of the River Ouse, in Sussex.

Went hunting for a good spot to capture some lilac Cuckoo flowers but they seem to grow in the most difficult places. The sun was also just a bit too bright so took a pic of the white ones instead.

Cuckoo Flowers also known as Lady’s Smock (Cardamine pratensis) is a meadow flower that has a pale lilac tinge – these were blossoming in our lawn
