Although most flowering plants are on their way out this time of year this patch of Black-eyed Susans was still striking and beautiful.

Found these little beauties in a local garden recently and thought they were really photogenic. These were not at their prime but need to get more pics of them when they are – lovely structure.

The weight and height of this Delphinium caused it to bend over after the rain but the vivid blue colour still remained.
