Faces of a Poppy
Trying out various processing techniques on an old Poppy photo of mine. I recall crawling up an embankment next to a busy road to take the photo and just missed stepping into a massive fox hole. Which version tickles your fancy?

1&2 for me. 🙂
Thanks – the traditional favourites 😉 Have a lovely day!
1 and 2 for me as well, but I enjoyed seeing your experiments!
Thanks Priya! Appreciate the comment!
I adore the three first, pretty series.
I wish you a beautiful day.
Thank you Vever!
Photo 1 – it is sharp where it needs to be and the photo gets over the silkiness of the petals
Thanks Diana! Appreciate the feedback!
I’m going to buck the trend and say that I really like number 4. There is something about the softness of the composition that really appeals to me. The scattered pollen looks like fallen leaves beneath stamen trees. I can picture walking under the canopy and watching the ‘leaves’ falling. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Robin for your lovely and poetic response! Have a lovely day!
