Rose Petal Power
The Roses just keep blooming and they have such beautiful shading that I just have to take a few more photos. I put some emphasis on the petals rather than the full bloom after being inspired by one of the winning entries for IGPOTY (International Garden Photographer of the Year).

Your images are lovely, the close-ups are sublime. I’m transported into a surreal land in your flora close ups – beautiful.
Thank you for sharing your passion and your talent.

new blogger, appreciator of all things lovely
Thank you for your kind words AnnMarie! Flowers are my passion as you can see. Welcome and happy blogging!
You’re most certainly welcome. I give private art lessons and my young student tonight was working on closeups of roses – I’ll have to show her your blog images next lesson.

That’s lovely. I just followed your blog and look forward to reading your posts!
Thank you so very much I sincerely appreciate that. I’m having a bit of fun with the blog now. In the near future I hope to post all my artwork and my writing pieces. Tomorrow’s post is going to be fun – please keep in mind it was inspired by my 13-year-old son – I don’t usually use PG-13 wording… 😉

Beeautiful
Why thank you Diana! Sun is out and the raindrops are still on the roses – off to take more pics 😉
Marvellous photographs. : -)
Thank you so much!
